GOOGLE EXPEDITIONS

The Google expeditions I'd use are the following:

On Safari with Taronga Zoo, Dubbo: This one would be for younger students in order to learn about exotic animals and  I might complete the task with a Blippar drag and drop vocabulary task on animal parts.

7 New Wonders of the World: This could be worked at any stage (adapting the level of difficulty to the students' age) and could be worked transversally with the geography teacher since there is a wide variety of tasks that could be related to this expedition such as an infographics  of the different wonders for later on getting an online magazine.

Bees and Honey production: It could be used in 1st cycle of ESO students and worked together with the science teacher and even with arts and crafts professional since student could also be asked to create a bee, a hive, etc made out of recycled materials and even run a survey to get further knowledge on this topic since there are several honey producers in the area. They could also run a campaign for bee protection.

Climate change: again, it can be used at any secondary school stage depending on the activities related to that. The aim of such task is to foster environmentally friendlier citizens. It could also be connected to the 17 sustainable development goals.

Refugees: Integration through community: I'd say this is an interesting topic due to the high level of refugees around Europe. By working on such topic, we may help students understand the situation better, be on refugees shoes and be more tolerant. This task could be dealt with in different subjects
